With global net-zero initiatives driving the market to create more sustainable solutions, we see new initiatives in the Egyptian real estate market in order to make a noticeable difference socially, environmentally, and economically in the country. Along with the rising interest among developers to integrate sustainable practices into construction processes in Egypt, in light of the government’s directives to realize the sustainability goals of the Egypt Vision 2030.
Running Cityscape Egypt gives us lots of opportunities to improve our impact environmentally, socially, and economically in our region. We want to make the event more responsible and play a role in helping the market improve its own sustainability by connecting people with the networks and knowledge they want to help solve the big challenges in the real estate sector.
The Role of Civil Society – Towards an inclusive community
At Cityscape Talks 2024, we hosted an impactful panel dedicated to inclusivity and sustainable development in Egypt. From making public spaces accessible to people with disabilities to providing pathways for those in need to own their own homes, this discussion showcased the inspiring efforts of local civil society to make Egypt more inclusive.
Your Road to Accessible Environments
We presented "Your Road to Accessible Environments," an interactive workshop designed specifically for professionals in the construction industry. This hands-on session provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the importance of accessibility in building design and environmental planning.
